AD Code Registration

An Authorised Dealer (AD) Code ties your bank to the port you ship from — without it, customs won’t generate a shipping bill. We register your AD Code at every port you trade through, so your consignments move.

01 · OVERVIEW

What an AD Code is — and why you need one

An AD Code is a 14-digit number issued by your bank’s authorised-dealer branch and registered with customs at each port. Customs uses it to credit export incentives and process shipping bills. You need a separate AD Code registration for every port or airport you export from.

WHEN YOU NEED IT

  • Filing your first shipping bill at a port.
  • Exporting from a new port or airport.
  • Receiving export proceeds and incentives.
  • Completing customs registration after IEC.
