What a Certificate of Origin does
A Certificate of Origin (COO) certifies the country in which goods were produced. Non-preferential COOs satisfy general customs and buyer requirements; preferential COOs let your buyer claim reduced or zero duty under a Free Trade Agreement. Both are issued per shipment via authorised chambers or the DGFT e-COO platform.
